Jesus also did many other things. If they were all written down, I suppose the whole world could not contain the books that would be written.
John 21:25 (NLT)
BUILDING FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE
Discover Your Faith Journey through Jesus Christ!
Have you ever known anyone who loved you so much that they were willing to die for you? The Bible tells us of God's love in the book of John, chapter 3, verse 16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus) that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (NKJV)
God is Holy, and no matter how good we are, we have all broken God’s commandments. This is called sin, and it separates us from God. The Bible is God’s message pointing to His plan of salvation to save all humanity from their sins. We are all sinners, no one is perfect.
Romans 3:23,
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (NKJV)
There is a high price tag for sin that must be paid.
Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (NKJV)
Isaiah 53:5
"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed." (NKJV)
Nearly 2000 years ago Jesus gave His life so we could live. Jesus was crucified on a wooden cross. He shed His blood and died in the sinner’s place. He was buried in a tomb, and after three days, God raised Him from the dead. He paid the price for sin so we wouldn’t have to receive eternal judgment after we die.
Hebrews 9:27
"And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment." (NKJV)
John 11:25
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live." (NKJV)
Romans 5:8
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (NKJV)
I John 1:7
"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." (NKJV)
"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (NKJV)
"Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (NKJV)
What is required for salvation?
Romans 10:9
“That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (NKJV)
Romans 10:13
"For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (NKJV)
If you are ready to have a sincere conversation with God, below is a guided prayer to invite Jesus, the Son of God into your heart and life.
Pray this aloud: Lord Jesus, I turn away from my sins and surrender my life to you. Wash me clean. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins, and rose again on the third day. I ask you, Jesus to come and live in my heart and be my Savior and Lord. Amen
If you prayed that simple prayer, welcome into the family of God!
Ephesians 2:8-9
"For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (NKJV)
John 1:12
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." (NKJV)

WHAT'S NEXT?
Congratulations on taking the first step by praying and asking Jesus to come into your heart and life!
I pray that you will find a Bible-believing church to grow and fellowship with.
The Book of Acts 2:41-47
Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
